KidSpirit uses OSU fonts, which can be found and downloaded here: https://communications.oregonstate.edu/brand-guide/visual-identity/typography
Kievit is meant for body copy, captions, and subheadings. It works best in sizes 5-19.
Because of licensing restrictions, we sometimes also use Open Sans in its place.
We use Stratum 2 for headings and titles. Stratum 2 works best at 18 points or larger. For the lighter weights (thin-regular), Stratum 2 can be less than 18 points, such as in subheads or pull quotes. Never use Stratum 2 for body typing.
Georgia is the serif font. It is best suited for headlines and subheads, and should not be used for body copy.
Soho Std is no longer up-to-date with OSU's visual branding, however you might still find it used to type out the KidSpirit logo or on our old T-Shirts.
These fonts should be used in all branding and communications coming from the Marketing office. However for those situations in which you can't use these fonts, such as when using Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, these are the OSU provided substitutes.
From OSU Typography Resources page (https://communications.oregonstate.edu/brand-guide/visual-identity/typography):
Impact is the substitute for Stratum 2 (display font, headlines at 18 points or larger, body copy)
Georgia is the substitute for Rufina Stencil (serif font, headlines and subheads, no body copy)
Verdana is the substitute for Kievit (smaller headlines, body copy and captions)
