Seek the LORD
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Spiritual Blindness
35Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
36"Who is he, sir?" the man asked. "Tell me so that I may believe in him."
37Jesus said, "You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you."
38Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped him.
39Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind."
40Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, "What? Are we blind too?"
41Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.
The Pharisees did not realize that they were spiritually blind...We must realize that we may be spiritually blind...
Jesus asks us if we believe in the Son of Man, just like He asks the blind man, He has just healed...Jesus came to earth to teach us who He was...He teaches us He is the Son of Man...When we see Him and read about Him, and then believe in Him, we understand that He is the Son of Man...But we must seek Him to realize this...
When Jesus came into our world, He divides the blind and the non-blind...His coming divides people...Those who know Him realize...Jesus says for judgment He has came into this world, so that the blind will see, and those who see will be blind...Believers will see who He is, others will not...Non-believers will not see that He is the Son of Man...This is still true today...For those who reject His teachings will wind up being blind...
Jesus came for us sinners and not for the righteous...If we are naive and do not know that we sin or do not think about Jesus or God, do we know or may not know that we are sinners...If we are so busy with ourselves, our families, our jobs, our hobbies, and our everyday lives, do we even think or know that we are sinners?...Do we really think about our sins, and what we have done against the Father morally?...We have sinned since our fall in the Garden of Eden...When Eve, then Adam ate the forbidden fruit, we became sinners...In the Garden of Eden, it was perfect...We were perfect...We were morally good...But since the fall of man, we became sinners and morally we try, but we still sin...After years of man sinning, God sent us the Son of Man...The Son of Man is Jesus, He would be punished and crucified for our sins...Our sins killed the Son of Man on the cross...When we think about the cross, and how Jesus was tortured and died on the cross, we must think and realize, this is what my sins did to Him...But if you do not realize this, then you may not even realize that you need the Son of Man's help and even a need for forgiveness...So in this sense, Jesus only came for those who realize that they have sinned...We cannot confess or repent if we do not know we need to confess and repent...This is the importance of seeking Him...Those who seek Him sincerely and with their hearts will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13)...
Jesus tells us that without Him we are blind and do not need Him...So we must realize that we are sinners and need forgiving to get to heaven and into His Kingdom...
