John 18:36-38
What is Truth
36 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place."
37 "You are a king, then!" said Pilate.
Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
38 "What is truth?" Pilate asked. With this he went out again to the Jews and said, "I find no basis for a charge against him.

Truth Shall Set You Free
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Jesus Says He is Truth
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Two thousand years ago, a man had to judge...Pontius Pilate ask "what is truth?"...I used to think that the truth was just that, the truth...After reading the Gospel According to John, I now think truth is a belief, a personal belief, and is intertwined with faith...
Christian truth is different than an atheists truth...A Christian believes the Jesus is the Truth...Atheists do not believe He is divine and part of the Trinity, let alone that He is the Truth...Christian's believe in Jesus and that He is the Son of God and sent from God is a truth, the believer's truth...But this truth is either right or wrong...Non-believers claim that Jesus is not God, and is not true...A part of the disbelief may come from the mystery of God, and our minds having trouble grasping an understanding...How can One heal anyone of any disease, by just talking to them or touching them?...How can One walk on water?...How can One be resurrected?...Just because one does not understand things does not mean it is not true to them...I do not understand how the CERN Hadron Collider was built...I do not understand how scientists expect to find the "God Particle" from bursting the smallest of particles...That does not mean that the scientists involved in this experience, and do not understand what they are doing...The scientists believe they may will something, some similarities to to original Big Bang...It is hard to understand many things, but that does not make them true or untrue...
Truth is very complicated, when trying to explain it...Truth comes from our personal knowledge, personal experiences, and our personal beliefs...Pilate did not believe that Jesus was the Son of the Blessed One...If he believed that Jesus was sent from God, he would have not only would have found Jesus innocent and found no basis for a charge against Him, he would have defended Him much better...Jesus gives us the argument that He is the Truth...Jesus tells us that anyone holding to His teachings will know the Truth, and the Truth will set them free...
To have faith in Jesus, is to trust in Jesus, and to believe in Him...If one believes in Jesus then they believe He is not a liar...He is either the truth or He is not...He can't be both...The one who had the knowledge that He had, helped all those He helped, and did the things that He did, would not be a liar...True knowledge and True purpose comes from the life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus...God created us...To know the most about truth, we must have belief...Faith in God through Jesus Christ is what the Creator planned... For man to be his best and know the truth, he must have faith and have a personal relationship with the One who created us...Truth comes from the One who stood up two thousand years ago, and said "I AM Truth."...
