John 18:37-38
What is Truth
37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate.

I AM Truth
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The Truth Shall Set You Free
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
What is Truth?...Man defines truth differently than the Bible does...Truth it seems, in the very end, maybe about one's personal belief system...What one believes in is how one sees and views the truth...Truth is close to belief...
Truth is personal to man...Truth involves each one's personal belief...To illustrate that truth is a belief, we can look at believers and non-believers...An atheist believes that his truth is truth and that their is no God...A believer in God, believes that Jesus is truth and there is a God...
One of these groups is right and one is wrong...Both cannot be true, so only one is the truth...Truth cannot be contradictory...Truth is not error or an error...Either the believer or the non-believer is in error...Both cannot be right...Truth is more than belief, or is it?...If truth is what everyone would believe then that is not an error and not contradictory...But if truth is what everyone man says is not an error and not contradictory, this again is basing truth on man's belief system and what man believes in...Then truth might be in what only one can see, feel, and touch...
We have to go outside of man's beliefs to find the truth...Truth outside ourselves is different than the truths we believe in ourselves...We must look for something higher and beyond ourselves...We must look to God...But if this is the case, then the atheist and non-believer does not have an absolute truth...
Two thousand years ago a Man stood up and said I AM truth...Jesus came into the world to testify to the truth...Everyone on the side of truth listens to Him...If we hold to His teachings, then we are His disciples and we will know that He is truth, and that truth will set us free...As we read through the gospels, we see that everyone does not believe in the truth...The non-believer does not believe in Jesus, and that He is the way, or the truth, of life...The atheist must believe then that Jesus is not the way to God, and He is a lie, and He does not give them eternal life...How sad that must be, not to have a path of faith to God, an absolute moral truth, and eternal life...Belief is very important in one's life and in the way he looks at truth...
Believers on the other hand have God sent Jesus to us...Some truths are beyond man...Some truths cannot be seen...Truth is God...God is the Father of His Son, Jesus...God is our absolute morality...God is our absolute essence...God is our Absolute Truth...
