John 1:1-14
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe.8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Matthew 13:44-52
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 “Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked.
“Yes,” they replied.
52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”
John 8:12
Jesus is the Light
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
God passed His universal LOVING qualities to Humanity one day...And these qualities were quite bright...The day on earth seemed brighter, when the Word became flesh...Somehow suddenly and without notice or warning there was One From Above here dwelling among us...And as He walked the earth, He had this seemingly Special Light that surrounded Him...Or maybe the Light is a part of Him...Somehow this Light is about Him...There was something about Him that just seemed to Shine...Maybe this Light, this Shine is from some place or maybe something from the beginning...
There was this Special Authority around Him and the authority came from God...God gave us Light and the believers around Him see the Light...
Maybe there is this Kingdom which is a much larger place than what we think about...A much, much larger place...A place where Spirits and Souls gently lie...A sacred and holy place...A place out there where miracles can happen...And there would have to be One there who can do these miracles...This place may require a faith for the miracles to be seen and believed...A much larger place that would need more than the knowledge of sight to see the miracle...There is One who can make the Universe larger, when you believe...A universe and Kingdom much larger than we can ever imagine...A place gently placed beyond infinity and in eternity...
