My goal is to create a photography magazine showcasing what it means to be a Modern Indian, in hopes of reflecting the modernization of cultures and personal identity.
The IB MYP Process Journal is a useful place to record information while working on all stages of the Personal Project. The student creates the journal in a format that suits his/her needs (scrapbook, word doc, blog, composition notebook, binder, etc.)

My personal project is a photography magazine that explores the evolving Indian identity, specifically my perspective and experiences with my own identity. The magazine is split into 4 distinct chapters, each representing a different perspective and theme. The photos in the magazine have all been shot on a 35mm camera, this was done to serve the aesthetic requirements of the product and for the added interest of the readers. The ATL skills that I used in this project were primarily my self-management skills, as I had to organize months of photos, information, and anecdotes in a logical and coherent manner. I also had to reflect on my experiences and understanding of my own identity. The two most important learner profiles that guided my way throughout this process were the reflective and communicators profile.
