My goal is to create a website for a group of NGOs by learning dynamic web development skills. This website would be a one stop solution for the NGOs to communicate their requirements and people to understand what exactly the Ngo’s need.
The IB MYP Process Journal is a useful place to record information while working on all stages of the Personal Project. The student creates the journal in a format that suits his/her needs (scrapbook, word doc, blog, composition notebook, binder, etc.).
My personal project was to make a website for Ngo’s in Bangalore. To do this, I had to learn dynamic web development. Through the project, I learnt many new skills like time-management and creative thinking. I set specific times to finish each of the deadlines and I stuck with it throughout. Along with that, I also made many designs od my website and I had to get creative here; I made quite a few different designs but only one got selected. Apart from the ATL skills, the global context played an important role in the project. I followed all the descriptors for the global context, and I accomplished them quite well. This project helped me learn how to look at the world from a different perspective and how small applications can greatly help organizations.
