It all started with a bright morning where I went for a walk and saw many people smoking and that too in the public. They threw the cigarettes on the ground. Then I thought how starting the research and saw there over a billion cigarette waste like this is affecting marine life poisoning them and choking marine life to death. It releases a very harmful chemical which is used in a cigarette filter. I thought why throw it when it can be of use to the farmers by making pesticides out of this. The problem I noticed it was due to bad waste-management of clearing the waste and illiteracy of the people due to which it is because it is not only the aquatic life/ Marine life that is being affected but also the humanity. As we drink the groundwater where due to most of the illiterate people is being contaminated because of the cigarette filter. So what I have thought to solve this problem is, I will make all the vendors collect my cigarette but by keeping a box where people can actually throw their cigarette waste, After when they are done with throwing there cigarette waste which will collect it and contaminate the cigarette waste with the water and after that process is done which usually takes around 25min I can refine it further to get the chemical which will then take a role of pesticide and will be further sold to the farmers for a cheap amount.
