Below is a map representing the distribution by region of all occurrences of [concept name]. Each bubble contains two concentric circles. The transparent and lightly shaded circles represent the total number of occurrences in a region, whilst the solid darkly shaded circles represent the relative frequency for each region.
Please hover the mouse over a bubble to learn more about how occurrences are distributed by world region.
The relative frequency is a number obtained by dividing the total number of occurrences in a region by the relative size of its sub-corpus. This indicates how much more or less often [concept name] is in each region compared to other regions and the entire HE Corpus. The higher the value is, the more representative [concept name] is of documents published in a given region.
Below is a detailed interactive histogram that allows you to explore the distribution of occurrences by organisation type, document type, region and year of publication.
