Genesis 41:50-52
Joseph Marries and has Two Children
50 Before the years of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On. 51 Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh and said, "It is because God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father's household." 52 The second son he named Ephraim and said, "It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering."
Joseph marries the Potiphera's daughter...Joseph's wife's name is Asenath...God helped Joseph forget all of his troubles and his family...Joseph was focused on his family, his work and responsibilities...
Years later Jacob, Joseph's father, on his deathbed will bless Ephraim and Manasseh...His two grandson's are blessed as his oldest son would be blessed...The children on Joseph are blessed and both will get land in the Promised Land...They will each have a Joseph's share of land when Joshua divides the Promised Land...
Joseph admits throughout that God has blessed him...In his life with his trials and tribulations with his brothers, his work in Egypt and in the two sons God that has given him- he has been blessed (by God)...And Joseph never forgets God, and that he is blessed...
