Genesis 1:27
God Created Us in His Image
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
1 Corinthians 2:6-10
God's Wisdom is Revealed Through the Spirit
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
Psalm 20:4
God Fills Our Desires and Make Our Plans Succeed
4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them...
When seeking God, use your heart, your soul, and your mind...But also use your imagination and wonderment...Because God gave us our imaginations, and He is of Great Wonderment...Search for Him with a curious mystery...Because He is of Great Mystery...Use your creative powers to look and seek for Him...After all, you are made in His Image, and He is the Greatest Creator of everything and of all times...
If no eye has seen God, and no ear has heard, and no human mind can conceive what He has prepared for those who love Him, then we must use our imagination, our creativity, and mystery to seek and no more about Him...
If we are truly made in God's Image then wonderment, imagination, creativity, and mystery surround us...This is because God Himself is full of wonderment, imagination, creativity, and mystery...What good is the human life, without these characteristics, and if we cannot have fulfilled desires and pleasures in our lives?...If our lives are but a series of random chances, and each day is just a throw of the dice, then life is meaningless...Happiness and laughter mean nothing to no one...But if God has a plan for each of us and prepares a place for us in His Kingdom then logic, reason, laughter, wonder, imagination, creativity, and mystery are a part of you and of His Image, that you were created in...
A poem by Father Pedro Arrupe, speaks on imagination...The poem or prayer is called Fall in Love:
Nothing is more practical than
finding God, than
falling in Love
in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination,
will affect everything.
It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read,
whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love,
stay in love,
and it will decide everything...
