Jesus Talks about Marriage
4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

God Makes Male and Female
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Genesis 2:24
God on Man and Woman
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
Jesus taught many different crowds and people when He walked the earth...Here He teaches the crowds in Galilee...He asks them "Haven't you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female"...With His question to the crowd, He is telling us that God created Adam and Eve...Not only is He talking about the partnership of man and woman, but also about the start of the earth by the Creator...Haven't you read, means there is a book that has this information in it about God creating the earth, and about creating man and woman as a couple...If He did not believe that God created the earth and also man and woman, He would not have raised this subject ...The Book (where this would have been read) is of course Genesis in the Bible...
God created man and gave him reason to leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh...When man and woman are married they are united and become one flesh...Jesus teaches us that the relationship one has with his family is so intimately close, no man should divide or separate the united (husband and wife)...
Jesus gives us His belief in the creation story...Jesus gives us the story of marriage out of the creation story...Jesus teaches us the seriousness that two must commit when entering the state of marriage...
