Genesis 1:26
Let Us Make Man
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Was there someone with God when Adam was created?...Who else might have been there?...Was there more than God involved in making of Adam and Eve and mankind?...Moses writes and uses the words in Genesis to the creation of making man, "Let Us make mankind"...In using the word "us", we maybe getting an insight that God is not only very complex and dynamic, but also that He is more than One in Himself...The Hebrew word for God is Elohim and is plural...This maybe the very start of the Trinity -that in the unity of God there is the plurality and more than One...God is God, and God is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and the Holy Spirit is what He sends to us to connect us to Jesus and Himself...Let us make mankind means that there was more than God in the making of mankind, because of using the word us in Genesis...
