Visionary Advocate & Activist

Joined the Falls Church City Police Department in 2002 as the first black female officer on the force.

Served as a certified Drug Abuse Resistance Education Officer, the Gang Resistance Education and Training Instructor in both public and private schools in the city, and the Community Service Officer and Background Investigator.

Co-founder and CEO of Black and Missing Foundation, Inc., a national non-profit organization established in 2008 that helps raise awareness for missing persons of color.

Appeared in the HBO four-part docuseries, "Black and Missing," directed by Soledad O’Brien, spotlighting the Black and Missing Foundation's commitment to locating missing persons of color.

Featured on The View, Essence, People, The Daily Show, WUSA, InStyle, Good Morning America, and CNN for her outstanding public service and advocacy work.

Awarded Black Entertainment Television’s Black Girls Rock "Community Change Agent" Award In 2017.

Graduated from the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy; member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE); and recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Crime Prevention Specialist.
