This almost-universe is rigged

So no man ever fully achieves a goal

Nor ever sees his dreams complete

Or make the pieces of life's puzzles fit

Entirely into some satisfying whole..

The solution then is aim higher

Think huge and with laughter

Say, "To hell with it!"
