Putin

If ever there was a statesman

Who brought order out of chaos

Then Putin is that man

And as such he often reminds me

Of the talents of Western leaders

For bringing chaos out of order

As if by design or plan.

And so it is the elevator

Going up with dedicated patience

Crosses the elevator similarly driven

To a dark and gloomy basement

Wherein lie neglected and discarded

The thwarted dreams of Man.
