Clean Hands 2

This "clean hands" thing I've mentioned before,

A simple principle with so much in store,

The more I apply it, the more I discover

That a maudlin existence reverts and recovers,

Life and living flourish like a well-nourished flower.

"Clean hands make a happy life" holds so much power;

Just try it, apply it, hour by hour

And you'll find your existence becomes less dour.

It needs no heroics, just a decision to be

More honestly in tune with your own decency,

For the power's within in you to be more kind,

More sincere, more straight and freer of mind.
