Jane Indigo Moore

Imaginative Realism and Poetry in Pictures

Jane Moore was born in England but her family moved to Africa. Growing up there she saw wild animals at first hand and fell in love with Wildlife.

Today she lives in England but reassuringly close to the beautiful Sussex countryside and sea.

She has been an artist most of her adult life, creating stunning portraits, murals, landscapes, seascapes and other decorative artwork plus some captivating fantasy portraits - although she prefers the term "imaginative realism".

Working mainly in oils but also water colour and occasionally acrylic, Jane is largely self taught - although she trained for a year in France with Master Realist Ted Seth Jacobs.

Her portrait work has included many commissions over the last 15 years in both the UK and USA and these include series portraits for the CBS Television network in Los Angeles.

She is a member of The Association of Animal Artists.

I have included here a selection that I hope is representative of the broad range of Jane's work although I have to admit it was hard to leave anything out.

Yet leave out some absolutely beautiful work I must, lest I leave you with nothing new to see on her website.

With that in mind for the full range and power of this artist's work please visit Jane Indigo Art and Jane Indigo Moore Pixels
