  • On February 14, 1980, Timothy White left kindergarten at Yokayo Elementary School and walked with a friend to his babysitter's house near Luce Street. On the corner of Luce and S. Dora Street he and his walking partner parted ways and this was the last time he was seen until his escape from Kenneth Parnell with Steven Stayner, 16 days later.

Heroes

  • The Ukiah Realtors helped search for Timothy White when he went missing in 1980. Both White parents worked in the Real Estate field and realtors from all over searched Ukiah and surrounding areas for days. They also made and distributed flyers and coordinated meals for the White Family.
  • The local American Legion and VFW also helped pay for and distribute flyers. They used contacts around California to get the word out.
