On Friday, February 10, 1989, Sheri Lynn Muhleman was last seen alive at her boyfriend’s home at 3473 Decoto Road in Fremont, CA. Muhleman had a 5 year old and was pregnant at the time of her disappearance. According to the Fremont Police Department, Muhleman was asleep when her boyfriend, Michael Abraham, left for work at 8:00 am. Later that morning Abraham’s sister saw Muhleman at 9:30 am at the home. When Abraham returned from work Muhleman was not at the home and he hasn’t heard from her since that Friday.

Sheri Lynn Muhleman’s mother reported her missing two weeks after she was last seen. Prior to her disappearance Muhleman was in daily contact with her family and they have not heard from her since she went missing. At the time of her disappearance there was a warrant out for her arrest on drug charges but the Fremont Police Department do not believe this was a factor in her disappearance. They do believe foul play was involved and Muhleman has never been found.

In 1989, Sheri Lynn Muhleman was 24 or 25 years old. She is described as caucasian, approximately 5 feet 1 inches tall, 90-100 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen she was wearing a white pullover sweater and blue jeans.

In 2017, the Fremont Police Department reopened the case when physical evidence that had been collected in 1989 along with current witness statements provided new opportunities to solve Muhleman’s disappearance. Investigators continue to look into the disappearance and believe that Muhleman is the victim of a homicide.
