Lost Dogs of Joshua Tree
An alcoholic bender. A missing dog with a year-long search. Lost Dogs of Joshua Tree is an accumulative project of the search for Dabber in which many dogs along the way seemed to be feeling a certain embarrassment or anxiety at being adrift, whether real or projected. This is also an experiment in mediums, ranging from wood to cardboard pet carrier, to beer can. The paintings vacillate between high Renaissance religious works to missing pet signs found stapled to telephone poles.
