The main ideas behind this assignment was to focus on negative space and gradients. In drawing negative space we were learning how to train ourselves to not draw from our brains. The zentagle value strip was to test our skills with gradients and just having fun.

All of these pieces are drawings with pen, colored pencil, and graphite.

The process on these drawings was relaxing, I didn't revise or redo anything.
