"How can we use the elements in art?"

For this sustained investigation, I wanted to connect elements of my life that have always inspired me. The moon, grass, the sea, and fairytales. 

I started with a bigger peice of paper, but decides to experiment with size and made it smaller. I then freehanded my design, and went in with alcohol markers to add color and dimension. I later added a layer of watercolor, and then another layer of marker to add more strange color. 

I really wanted to experiment with color for this project, and putting it in places it usually might not be put.
