I decided to do something in pencil which I haven't done a lot recently. I love to draw people so I did a side profile drawing which I've learned is much easier than front profile because there doesn't have to be symmetrical. I started with a sketch and then went in with darker shades working my way lighter. Drawing with colored pencil is very tedious work, you have to make sure the shading is even and fills in all the little bumps in the paper, and that the lead of your pencil is the right softness. For this drawing I used softer pencils. Something I struggle with in art is pushing myself and I don't think I succeeded in doing that with this project, it was sort of rushed and last minute but I did have fun doing it.
