This assignment was about testing our technical skills. The main idea was just drawing what you see in the mirror.

I set up a mirror and just drew exactly what I saw.

This was tricky for me not the technical part but I might say that my self esteem went down a little. I don't think staring at a mirror nonstop almost picking yourself apart for thirty minutes straight is great for anyone. I focused on every detail extremely carefully especially my eyes.

The idea was drawing exactly what you see. Drawing glass is funny because the shadow and highlights are in different places depending on the exact angle of light.

I drew exactly what I saw and not how my brain filters it. When we draw we just draw it from the idea of what it "should" look like in our brain or how we remember it.

This was a very easy still life to capture in my opinion, its not very detailed. It took me like ten minutes to complete.

My goal for this one was to just have fun. I didn't realize that we weren't allowed to use watercolor but i really enjoyed it.

I started out with a sketch then, went in with ink. I used a ruler for a lot of the lines, and that was helpful. I started by just washing  everything, letting that dry and then going in with shadows and details.

I wanted to do something fun and cute not just a plain corner. I added plant to liven everything because every room needs plants!
