Online Teaching Survival Guide
Essential reading for online instructors, updated to cover new and emerging issues and technologies The Online Teaching Survival Guide provides a robust overview of theory-based techniques for teaching online or technology-enhanced courses. Covering all aspects of online teaching, this book reviews the latest research in cognitive processing and related learning outcomes while retaining a focus on the practical.
Participants will; receive a complimentary copy, be asked to read approximately 60 pages per month and participate in one of the monthly meetings. We plan to meet approximately every 3 weeks. We offer an online and in-person times to meet so book club members may choose a mode and meeting date that fits their schedule each time.
Book club members will be asked to have read the assigned pages and come to meetings / go online with salient points of interest and inquisitive questions.

Converse and share teaching ideas with fellow faculty.
Develop new expertise in teaching in the online classroom.
