(Safety, Comfort, Feasibility)

• Choose established campsite

• Plan for rain

• Stay 200ft (61m) away from water source

• Seek tree cover

• Avoid overhead hazards (Eg: Anything above the head such as trees)

• Choose higher ground

• Consider wind direction

• Clear the ground
