Held in commemoration of Seng Kang Secondary School’s 20th Anniversary and
Late Minister Mentor Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s Death 3rd Anniversary.
The aim of the event is as follows:
SKSS intends to place the school’s name in the Singapore Book of Records, aiming to promote active, healthy living & community bonding among all staff, students, parents and community partners.

To commemorate this momentous occasion, the school has set three records during the record breaking event on 23 March 2018, 7.30am – 11am at Seng Kang Hockey Stadium.
Record Breaking Challenge 1
Aim: To fold 20,000 origami sail boats to symbolise the community of global citizens in Seng Kang Secondary School who are ready to set sail into the future and contribute to the world.
Actual: Largest Display of Paper Sailboats with 22161 Origami Pieces
Record Breaking Challenge 2
Aim: To conduct a non-stop 20 mins Tabata workout by all our staff, students and partners so as to demonstrate the same pioneering spirit and resilience as our late Minister Mentor Mr Lee Kuan Yew and our Pioneer Generation, in achieving a breakthrough!

Actual: Largest Mass Tabata Display with 989 participants
Record Breaking Challenge 3
Aim: To pass 20 KIN Balls down a human chain continuously for 20 mins, to demonstrate the importance of being an active contributor and a team player to achieve a breakthrough.
Actual: Most number of Push Balls kept in the air with 20 balls for 20 minutes.
