As part of the school’s Learning for Life Programme, Building Character through PE & Sports, the aim of the programme is to equip you with the necessary skills, attitude and knowledge to be a stronger athlete, tougher individual and a learner for life.
The Sports Science Programme is to enable you to be a stronger athlete through a series of workshops such as Sports Psychology, Sports Nutrition, Exercise Physiology etc.

PRE-TEST PREPARATION
1. Be familiar with the test and what is required to complete the test.
2. You should be adquately trained or have been physically active at least for a duration of 4 week. Physically active means you have participated in sports at least 3 times a week.
3. Drink lots of water.
4. Sleep at least 8 hours.
5. Please do not come to school if any of your household members is sick with flu like symptoms of Respiratory Infection Symptoms and inform your teacher about it.
6. Please do not come to school if you are having fever or displaying any flu like symptoms such as running nose and sore throat. Please inform your teacher about it.
7. Please ensure that your parents had given their consent to your participation in this programme through the Parents Gateway.
DURING EVENT
1. Take your temperature prior to the start of the event and report your temperature to your teacher.
2. Wearing of mask is default (Safety Measures during Covid-19). Only remove the mask prior to the test
3. Bring along your water bottle.
4. Be properly attired (School Team attire)
5. Warm-up before the event.
6. Ensure that the tester and recorder is ready to conduct the test and your test score is recorded. You are responsible for monitoring your scores at each fitness test station.
POST EVENT
1. Hydrate - Drink Water
2. Cool Down - Stretch
3. Reflect on your performance. What went well? How can you improve as a student athlete?
