I left "The Tech" in 1950 - worked in the drawing office at Ercol - did 2 years National Service in the RAF, then went back to Ercol, and from there, to Parker Knoll, until 1957.

In 1957, I emigrated to Queensland in Australia,then after a short time there, I moved to Victoria, and have been here ever since, until I retired at the ripe old age of 75.
