Brian Price - My memories

At Wycombe Tech, I was in the Junior Art School from 1952 to 1956, in forms J1 - J3. We were at the top of the site next to the railway, in a building known as "Sunshine Hall". Mr Bateman was our first form master. We managed to avoid "assembly" every day for 3 years by dawdling up from Frogmore. By looking down the site under the workshop roofs, from the Birdcage Walk entrance at the top of the site, the 'last legs' could be seen entering the hall.

In 1956 I joined a combined group from all the rest of the school to do "O" Levels.

From 1957 to 1960 I moved to the new college to do Furniture Design.
