I remember Spadger well, as one of the Risborough lads who travelled on the bus home each day. I lived in Bradenham Road, and got off just after we passed under the railway bridge after West Wycombe.

I also remember, but not with fond memories, the Headmaster - Harry Ward - I had 6 of the best off him - TWICE. Henry Panter taught me for Maths in various years and he had a great influence on my life, especially after explaining why it was necessary to wear a cap in first two years, but it was OK not to, thereafter.
