Back to The Fallen
Back to Hope Dies
Back to Outside the Garden
Back to The Fall
Back to Creation of Woman
Back to Creation of Man
Back to Way Back Yonder
It was one of the darkest times in human history. Paradise had been lost, and wickedness ran rampant. Lucifer and the fallen angels created confusion and despair wherever they could. The one righteous man in the world had been brutally slain by his own brother. That brother had been rejected as unrighteous and banished by God to a distant land. Adam and Eve produced more children and there were some sons born but mostly more daughters. As the sons grew, they married their sisters and started producing more children. But none were found righteous by God as they were greatly influenced by the rebel angels to do what was bad in His sight.
Eventually, the rebel angel Samyaza taught his comrades how to take on flesh and become as men. Not all were willing to do so but many were. This made them look exactly like the men of the world, only they were stronger and faster. The flesh hid their red color and the only way to tell the difference between them and humans was the sinister look they constantly had. Once they became fleshly they proceeded to take the daughters of man as their wives. They took whomever they wanted as no human was powerful enough to stop them. Some of the women were willing partners as they delighted in the attention given them by heavenly beings. Others resisted and were forced against their will into marriage.
Then Samyaza taught them how to have sex with the women. This enticed more angels to forsake their heavenly positions and join the rebels. The result was the bringing forth of hybrid children who were half human and half angel. They grew to be stronger than normal humans and they used their superior strength to bully everyone to get what they wanted. They became a scourge in the land.
Not only were the rebel angels intent on having sex with their wives but would seek out sexual favors with anyone they desired even if the woman was a wife of a fellow fallen angel. Several of them even attempted sex with each other.
The Lord observed all that was happening on the Earth, and he was moved to remorse. His Voice moved through the spirit realm and declared, “I regret I have made man. His badness is everywhere, and all his thoughts are evil. The end of all flesh is before me.” This was music to Lucifer and the fallen angel’s ears. It was what they were waiting to hear. So, they increased their efforts at destroying any love humans may have had left for God. They felt victory was near.
Adam and Eve did the best they could under the circumstances. They were not righteous, and they bore much of the responsibility for what was happening in the world, but they did have an acute sense of right and wrong. It pained them to see their children and their children’s children behaving in such an ungodly manner. Sometimes they would try to correct one of them to only be bombarded with ridicule. All of their children had become wicked except for one, Aklia. She was older and wiser than her siblings and Adam and Eve did everything they could to protect her from the rebel angels and the evil men of the world. One rebel, Samyaza, had his sights on her as she reminded him of Eve when she was younger. Even though he could now fill his carnal desires with other women he never forgot his first love. Aklia had to flee to the mountains on several occasions and had to hide out in a cave until his attention was diverted elsewhere. Unknown to her, the angel Gabriel protected her and had made her invisible while in the cave so Samyaza was unable to find her. Adam was afraid it would only be a matter of time before the rebel caught up to her.
One day, thinking it was safe, she left the mountain to check on her father and mother. Finding Adam coming out of his house, she ran to him and hugged him. “How is mother doing?” she inquired.
Tenderly brushing her hair out of her eyes, Adam replied, “Oh, she’s as comfortable as she can be. I told her to try and get some sleep.”
“That’s good,” she said and then after hesitating she declared, “Daddy, I’m starting to be very afraid.”
“That demon angel came too close to catching you last time,” he surmised. “I wish you would’ve just stayed hidden in the mountain.”
“I couldn’t, Daddy,” she explained. “I get so lonely, and I was worried about you and Mother. I just had to come back.”
They stopped and looked as off in the distance the faint scream of a woman could be heard. Aklia shuddered and cried, “They’re taking anyone they want.”
“I know,” he agreed. “This world has become so violent and wicked. No one has the power to stop them. They do what they want.” They heard another woman scream only this time she was much closer and louder.
“That was too close,” Aklia declared. “I don’t want that to happen to me, so I’d better head back up the mountain.”
“Me either,” he agreed. The he wiped his brow and said, “If only Abel was still here. He’d know what to do.”
Aklia bit her lip. “You still miss him.”
Adam hugged her again and said, “I always will, and your mother does, too. When he was alive there was hope. Through his seed was the hope of a redeemer, one who could relieve us of the curse that God has placed upon the ground and from all our hard work. He was strong. He would’ve fought against the demon angels and God would have blessed him.”
“I miss him, too, Daddy,” she said. “But that’s all gone now. We have to be strong and carry on.”
“I know. I know,” Adam said as his heart felt heavy with grief. “I don’t know which hurts more, Abel dying or because he was killed by the hand of his brother. And because of that he has become as cursed as the ground. Nothing good can come from him. I’m afraid it’s all lost.”
“You seem so sad all the time,” she declared. “I wish I knew how to cheer you up.”
“Oh, you do, my dear,” Adam revealed as he managed a weak smile. “If it wasn’t for you, your mother and I would be totally lost. It always warms our hearts to see you.”
Without warning an angel materialized and swooped down from the sky to grab Aklia. He held her firm while Samyaza came running from behind the trees. She screamed and Adam tried to pry the angel’s fingers off of her but he swatted him like a fly and Adam went sprawling to the ground. He handed Aklia off to Samyaza and then declared, “There you are, my brother. Enjoy her.” Samyaza wrapped his arms around her to keep her from fleeing and replied, “Thanks for your help. Now, if you’ll go and offer your wings to Luce as a sacrifice you can join the winning team.”
The angel smiled and flew off to find Lucifer.
Aklia kept struggling to break free but to no avail. Samyaza whispered in her ear, “After one night with me you’ll no longer want to struggle.”
Adam climbed back to his feet and yelled, “She’s not for you, demon!!”
Samyaza gave a hearty laugh and asked, “Who are you keeping her for?”
“She’ll marry a human, one of her kind,” Adam declared to which Samyaza laughed so hard he almost lost his grip on her.
“Why?” he smirked. “They’re no better than me. In fact, I can do things to her no human can.”
This was too much for Adam and he rushed the rebel angel but was promptly belted with a right hook. He fell to the ground again as Samyaza whispered again in her ear, “You’re as stunning as your mother was. We’ll make beautiful children together!” She screamed and Adam pushed himself to his knees and prayed, “Lord, please don’t let this happen!!”
Samyaza threw Aklia across his shoulder and held her tight. He laughed at Adam again and barked, “Yeah, pray to your God. Look around, Adam. He doesn’t care!”
Adam kept pleading, “God, please! I beg You!!”
Samyaza started leaving carrying Aklia with him. He yelled back at Adam, “God’s dead, human. He’s as dead as all of you are!”
As Aklia’s cries faded in the distance Adam slumped to the ground. He pleaded, “God, why?!? Have I not been punished enough?” Then rising to his knees, he continued, “What do You want? Do You want me to beg?” Pulling up to stand, he yelled, “I’m begging, Lord!! I’m begging!! What do You want me to do?”
From inside the house Eve yelled, “Adam!!” He started running toward the house shouting, “Hold on. I’m coming!”
Lucifer was pleased with himself. He had accomplished more in a shorter period of time that he had thought was possible. As he strutted out of the Garden of Eden he gave a salute to the two angels guarding the gate with the flaming sword. They simply stared back at him. He thought that was okay because it wouldn’t be long before they would be taking orders from him.
He came to Adam’s house and was met by Azazel and another rebel angel who he didn’t know by name. They bowed their heads toward him and he declared, “It’s a wonderful day, isn’t it?”
Azazel laughed and replied, “Yeah, for everybody but the Lord and these pitiful humans!”
Lucifer was willing to join in the merriment and said, “Tsk…tsk…tsk. It’s such a pity. God’s failure is almost heartbreaking.”
The other rebel angel saluted him and said, “Things are proceeding just as you planned. No one righteous is left. They’re all cursing God.”
Azazel added, “He’s dead to them. There’s no one to save mankind. You’ve won, Luce, just like you planned.”
“Well, I did all I could,” Lucifer said as he beamed with pride. “What can I say? I’m just a natural born leader.”
Samyaza came running up to them carrying Aklia on his shoulder. Lucifer materialized so she could see him. Azazel and the other rebel angel had already taken on flesh and were visible to the humans. Sitting her on the ground, but still firmly holding onto her, Samyaza declared, “Look Luce, I got her!” Not knowing who they were she begged for mercy. They ignored her and Lucifer smirked, “I still don’t see what you see in them, Sam. I’m missing something here. How can you fall in love with dirt?”
“Oh, Luce, she’s beautiful, and she’s all mine!!” Samyaza excitedly answered.
Suddenly, it dawned on Aklia who Lucifer was. Her eyes widened with fright, and she cried, “You’re the Devil!!”
Lucifer licked his lips and moved closer to her. “That’s right sweetie. I sure am.” Then he turned to Samyaza and stated, “I’m sorry, Sam. I try to like them but I just can’t. They’re so filthy!”
“That’s okay, Luce. It just leaves more for me!” Samyaza laughed. Then he asked, “Can you guys look after her for a while?”
“Sure, leave her here,” Lucifer replied.
Samyaza handed her off to Azazel who held her tight as she struggled again to get free. The other rebel angel asked, “Where you going?”
“I saw another one over the hill there and I don’t want her to get away,” Samyaza explained as he started running toward the place he saw the woman.
“You’re still a sad case!” Lucifer yelled after him. Samyaza shouted back, “What?” Lucifer motioned for him to go on and yelled, “She’s not going anywhere.”
Azazel watched Samyaza disappear over the ridge and then turned back to Lucifer and declared, “I must admit I had my doubts. But you’ve done good, brother.”
The other rebel angel agreed and said, “You’ve done real good.”
Lucifer’s head felt like it was about to burst with pride. “Please. Please,” he said. After a brief silence he continued, “No, what I mean is please don’t stop.”

Aklia came close to fainting from fear and exhaustion. The rebel angels lowered her to the ground but kept her boxed in so she couldn’t escape. Lucifer bent down and got right in her face.

Lucifer & The Fallen Angels
♫ Give it up!!! ♫
Beaming with pride Lucifer moved in and whispered in Aklia’s ear, “You’ve got to admit, I am a genius!” Without him knowing it, Michael, the archangel, had landed right behind him and was holding his drawn sword in his hand. When he looked at Azazel and the other rebel angel all he could see was the terror and shock on their faces as they stared at the menacing figure standing before them. He slowly turned around and looked up into the face of the archangel, who despised him and was more than capable of ending his life.
Lucifer smiled at him and said, “Michael?!? You’re looking all serious and everything.”
“I warned you Lucifer!” Michael growled. “You refused to listen and so now you’ll pay for all you have done.”
“You’re going to try and take on all three of us?” Lucifer smirked.
“What three?”
Looking around, he could see that Azazel and the other rebel angel had abandoned him. If the situation hadn’t been so serious he would have been impressed with how fast they had disappeared. Aklia was standing there by herself staring at the massive bulk of the archangel. Her mind told her to run but she couldn’t make herself move. Lucifer turned back to Michael and coolly replied, “It doesn’t matter. All I have to do is snap my fingers and there’ll be a hundred of my followers here ready and willing to defend me.” He moved a little closer and challenged, “Are you prepared to take all of us on?”
The archangel didn’t flinch and simply replied, “Bring them on.”
“Okay, you’ve asked for this,” Lucifer declared as he stretched and cracked his knuckles. He held up his hand ready to snap his fingers when he gave Michael a nod as a last chance to change his mind. The archangel didn’t move, so Lucifer shrugged and snapped his fingers. No one came. Actually, quite a few did come running to the top of the hill, including Samyaza, but when they saw Michael with his sword glowering down at Lucifer they turned and made a hasty retreat.
Lucifer looked around expecting to see his fellow rebels rushing to his defense. He took a shallow breath as he started to get nervous about whether they were going to show up or not. When it became apparent no one was coming, he looked up at Michael and gave a feeble smile. The archangel growled, “Do it again.”
So, this time Lucifer snapped the fingers on both of his hands at the same time. Michael grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. He kept snapping his fingers as he dangled in the air. The other rebels heard him but none of them had the backbone to come to his aid.
While holding Lucifer, Michael looked down at Aklia and said in a warm and tender voice, “Aklia, the Lord heard your father’s prayer and sent me to spare you. Go to your parents and fear no more. God has decreed that anyone touching you to harm you will immediately meet their annihilation.” She could hardly believe her ears and after thanking him over and over again and praising the Lord she ran off as fast as she could to her parent’s house.
When she was gone, Michael turned his attention back to Lucifer who he was still holding in the air. Lucifer figured this was his end and had quit squirming and had gone limp. He weakly asked, “Uh…can we talk about this?” Michael placed his sword on top of Lucifer’s left ear and barked, “We’ve already talked. Now, you will die!!”
The Lord’s Voice interrupted them and said, “Michael, my son.”
The archangel immediately dropped Lucifer and bent down on one knee in submission to the Lord. Lucifer fell to the ground with a thud and lay there.
“Yes, my Lord?” he humbly asked.
The Voice of the Lord spoke, “Your heart is good, but the time has not come.”
“May Your will be done,” Michael said as he stood and glowered down at Lucifer. The angel Gabriel flew down from the sky and landed beside the two. He almost laughed when he saw Lucifer sprawled out on the ground. Instead, he turned to Michael and said, “The Lord has sent me to Lucifer.”
Michael uttered “So be it” and started ascending but stopped and shouted back, “Lucifer, we shall meet again.”
Lucifer was still on the ground but yelled, “Well, I can’t wait. Next time I’ll be ready for you!” He was feeling much better knowing God had stopped him from being slaughtered. Surely, the Lord had a good reason for doing so. Could it be God had decided to give in and let him rule the Earth? Why else would he have stopped the archangel? With renewed energy he climbed to his feet and brushed himself off as he muttered, “That brute had better watch himself. That’s all I can say.”
Gabriel covered his mouth to try to stop laughing but his body still shook. Finally, he was able to say, “He had better watch himself? Go ahead and tangle with him. It’ll be the last stupid thing you ever do.”
“Funny, Gabe. Real funny,” Lucifer smirked. Then with an air of confidence he said, “But back to business old buddy-slash adversary. I hope you bring a message from the Big Guy.”
“Indeed, I do,” the angel declared.
“Wow! Are you serious?” Lucifer beamed excitedly. This could be it. This was what he had been waiting for.
Clapping his hands together he declared, “I figured he’d finally give up, but I never dreamed it would be this quick.”
Gabriel shook his head and said, “Oh, He hasn’t given up. In fact, He has a plan.”
“Well, it had better be a good one,” Lucifer declared. “Look at this mess! I don’t know how he could ever clean it up.”
“I must admit you’ve been busy,” Gabriel agreed.
Lucifer continued, “And I’m not alone. I’ve got a bunch of our brothers helping me.”
“They weren’t too good at helping you with Michael, were they?” Gabriel smirked.
“Another good one, Gabe,” Lucifer sneered. “You’re starting to be a real comedian.”
“I do my best.”
“I’m sure they were busy, or they would’ve been here,” Lucifer offered. “In fact, they’re quite good at causing trouble and mayhem. I’ve been quite impressed. Would you like to join the winning side?”
Gabriel was stunned at Lucifer’s arrogance. He had always been insolent but now he was intolerable. “I’m already on the winning side,” he declared.
“Suit yourself,” Lucifer said. “But look around, Gabe. There’s violence. There’s evil everywhere and there’s no one righteous left. I love it. The only righteous hope for the human race is lying over there in the ground being eaten by worms. God has lost. He might as well turn everything over to someone who can do a better job at running things. It’s sad, but it’s true.”
“And I guess that someone would be you,” Gabriel surmised. He had almost enough of this blow heart, and he was thinking more and more that maybe the Lord ought to let Michael go ahead and take care of him.
Lucifer couldn’t help himself. He was talking about his favorite subject, so he submitted, “Well, I will humbly offer myself to be the Supreme Being. I think I could handle the job. Don’t you? After all, look at what I’ve already accomplished.”
That was all Gabriel could take, and he yelled, “Why, you egotistical, conceited, arrogant piece of…”
He was interrupted by Adam running out of his house and shouting, “The baby’s here!!”
Lucifer was stunned. “What?!? What baby?”
“It was discussed at our last heavenly gathering,” Gabriel explained. “Oh, that’s right; you don’t attend them, do you? I guess you’ve just been too busy to pay attention, dear old buddy-slash adversary.”
Adam ran back into the house but quickly came back out followed closely by Aklia. They started jumping up and down with excitement as he exclaimed, “It’s a boy!!!”
Lucifer looked at Gabriel and mouthed, “What?!? How?”
Gabriel smiled and said, “Here’s God’s message for you: You lose.”
Adam hugged Aklia lifting her off the ground and twirling around. In fact, he was so excited he was ready to hug anything. He yelled for all to hear, “Eve has named him Seth, for God has appointed another seed in place of Abel!!”
Lucifer was beside himself. “Another seed? No!!! Oh, come on!! Didn’t you hear Him awhile ago? He said ‘the end of all flesh is near’.”
Gabriel was busy rejoicing and declared, “Even now with man facing extinction our Lord shows mercy. Praise be our Lord!!”
“This is terrible!!” Lucifer shouted as he stomped around in frustration. Above him the sky became filled with angels who were jubilant that their God had not given up on His earthly creation and had made plans for redemption. The rebel angels were no where to be found. The sight of Michael holding Lucifer by the neck with his sword pointed at him was enough to strike the fear of God in them. They decided it would be best to lay low for a while and let things settle down.
After swearing and cursing, Lucifer looked toward the heavens and shouted, “Why are You doing this?!? You’re just trying to ruin my life!!!”
All became still with reverence as the Lord’s Voice replied, “Yes, a seed has been born who will bring righteousness to all the earth. Through him will come a Saviour who will be called Wonderful and Mighty Counselor. All the earth will bless themselves because of him. You will bruise him in the heel, and he shall bruise you in the head.”
Lucifer crossed his arms in total disgust and murmured, “You said that ‘bruise’ thing to the snake in the garden.”
“It seems kinda fitting, doesn’t it?” Gabriel smirked.
Aklia hugged her father one more time and then went into the house to attend to her mother and new brother. Adam was beaming from head to toe with pride. He looked up to the sky and said, “Thank you, Lord. Thank you!!” Then, he turned and went inside to be with his family.
Shock had given way to anger for Lucifer. His face was glowing as red as the rest of his body, and he balled his hands together and threw a lightning bolt toward Adam and Eve’s home. Gabriel caught it before it reached its intended target and threw it back at him. It hit Lucifer in the stomach knocking him to the ground. He lay there throwing a temper tantrum, kicking his legs and screaming, “All my work! All my plans!! It’s not fair! It’s not fair!!” All the angels above him started laughing and making fun of his antics. One of them shouted, “Give him one of the baby’s pacifiers!” Even Gabriel had to turn away to keep from laughing in his face.
Seeing he was being mocked and getting no sympathy, Lucifer calmed down and jumped to his feet. He brushed himself off and yelled at the Lord, “You’re just doing this to get even with me. It’s not fair!” Then turning to Gabriel he pleaded, “Tell Him, Gabe. Tell Him it’s just not fair!”
“It sounds pretty good to me,” Gabriel replied. “Hope for mankind has been reborn. It’s beautiful!”
“It’s beau—ti—ful,” Lucifer mocked.
“Lucifer,” the Lord’s Voice called.
“What?”

Lucifer started yelling, “Hey! Wait a minute! Stop the music! Stop the music!!” Everyone stopped singing and turned their attention to him. With a menacing look he grinned and said, “This sounds nice and all but don’t go forgetting about me.”
There was a long pause as everyone contemplated what this meant. Finally, one angel started chanting “Michael’s coming. Michael’s coming.” Another joined in and before long all the heavenly hosts were chanting as heaven and earth echoed with “Michael’s coming.”
To say this struck fear in Lucifer’s heart would be an understatement. He anxiously looked around to see if, indeed, Michael was coming. God had directed the archangel not to destroy him, but he decided to not take a chance and took off running as fast as he could toward his hole in the Garden of Eden.
When he came to the gate where the angels Uriel and Metatron were guarding it with the flaming sword, he quickly barked, “Give me the sword!” The two angels ignored his request and just stared at him. He gritted his teeth and snarled, “I said give me the sword!!” Uriel shrugged his shoulders and challenged, “If you want it, take it. That is, if you can.” Metatron started chanting “Michael’s coming. Michael’s coming.”
Scared out of his wits, Lucifer abandoned his attempt to steal the flaming sword and ran to his hole. As the volume had increased the chanting had become almost unbearable for him and he dove into the ground and disappeared from view.
When all the angels saw he was gone they cheered wildly and praised God for His goodness and kindness. Gabriel danced a jig in celebration and then asked, “Where were we?”

♫ Faithful and true,

The scream was loud and unsettling. All the angels stopped singing and looked at each other as they tried to figure out the origin. At first, Gabriel thought it was one of the women. He thought she was being molested by one of the rebel angels. Then he realized it was Lucifer who had screamed.
Lucifer had become emboldened and decided he would take a peek out of his hole to see if it was safe to venture out. When he stuck his head out and looked up, he saw Michael clutching his sword and staring down at him. He was smiling for the first and only time. As he swung the sword, Lucifer ducked back into the hole and missed having his head split in two by mere inches. This was when he screamed. Of course, Michael had no intentions of killing him. The Lord had forbade it at this time, but he thought it might be good if Lucifer was led to believe he was trying to. As for his part, Lucifer fell all the way to the bottom of his hole and stayed there. He was not heard from again for a long time.
All the angels strained their ears to see if they could hear anything else. All they could hear was the laughter of the archangel. They listened with fascination as no one had ever heard an archangel laugh before. Then, it became quiet. It was peaceful. Lucifer was no longer carrying on mischief. All the rebel angels were in hiding and a righteous seed had been born. The stillness had a soothing effect on all. Finally, the Lord made a sound like He was clearing His Voice and everyone turned their attention to Him.
The Lord’s Voice
♫ I’m gonna make it all right. ♫
The Angels
♫ All right! ♫
The Lord’s Voice
♫ I’m gonna make it right. ♫

The Lord’s Voice
♫ All right. ♫
The Angels
♫ All right,
For He’s faithful and true.
He’ll be there for you.
He’s gonna fix it up and make it right. ♫
Gabriel
♫ When you find you’re all alone and your spirit starts to groan,
Listen for the hope that’s waiting for you.
There’s no need for you to fear for the Lord is always near. ♫
The Angels
♫ Put your trust in the Lord for He is true.
He is faithful.
He is faithful. ♫
Gabriel
♫ Faithful and true,
He’s there for you. ♫
Gabriel & The Angels
♫ All right.
All right.
He’s gonna make it right. ♫
The Lord’s Voice
♫ It’s gonna be all right. ♫
