♫ Here’s a little ditty about a man in a city called Vatican.
He was very pretty and he hailed from a city called Babylon.
He took his stand with a well crafted plan that he deemed so clever.
He longed to be pope, but the church gave no hope to his secret endeavor.
Yes, he wanted to be pope, but the cardinals couldn’t cope, it’s a tragedy!
The bishops filled with hate as Torquemada sealed his fate, it’s a calamity!
Such misery! From the Holy See!
A catastrophe!! It didn’t have to be!!
O woe is me as I tell it to thee,

Yes, indeed, the notorious Tomas de Torquemada and his band of over righteous zealots destroyed the reputation and life of Cardinal Bishop Louis Paschal. But I must not get ahead of myself. Let me tell you the story. We must go back in time to over half a millennium ago. Come with me to Spain. Come along with me to the village of Sevilla. It is Friday the thirteenth, August, in the year of our Lord, fourteen hundred eighty-four. See the young peasant woman as she makes her way through the alley. She is the fair maiden Beatriz Enriquex de Arana. Look closely and see a young face in love.
