"Si è concluso il primo Special Award targato Radio Penisola Salentina, che mi ha visto in collaborazione con Fabio 1RPS70 per tutti i cinque fine settimana del mese di maggio a fare chiamata con il nominativo 1RPS14/F e Fabio con 1RPS70/D.

Il senso dell’Award era di avvicinare gli appassionati delle trasmissioni digitali a quelli in fonia e viceversa e sembra che abbia avuto un certo richiamo specie tra gli operatori del digitale. Un pò meno tra gli operatori in fonia ma i vari commenti pervenuteci tutto sommato ci ha confortato a perseguire l’iniziativa anche per il prossimo anno, forte del fatto che il gruppo Radio Penisola Salentina ha tra le sue fila molti operatori che trasmettono sia in digitale che in fonia. Sicuramente la prossima edizione avrà piu operatori attivatori.

L’Award è partito con lentezza, a causa di una propagazione non favorevole per i primi fine settimana, avevamo pochi contatti specie per quanto riguardava la fonia tant’è che ero diventato una wanted station e la cosa non mi piaceva affatto. Poi, nella penultima settimana, con grande sorpresa siamo riusciti ad assegnare qualche Award, grazie a una forte propagazione e nonostante la frequenza monitor per la chiamata in fonia fosse stata presa d’assalto dai vari contest attivati da altri gruppi. Sono veramente contento di lasciare ai miei amici del gruppo Radio Penisola Salentina un evento che ci ha fatto lavorare in simbiosi con il mio collega Fabio, e per questo lo ringrazio, per l’impegno nel promuovere l’ evento sui vari siti e social, per la creazione di un logbook condiviso, per la pazienza nel valutare e a consigliare la grafica del diploma da assegnare.

Ovviamente tutto questo non sarebbe stato possibile se non ci fossero stati tutti coloro che hanno partecipato, sia che abbiano vinto e sia che ci abbiano provato.

The first Radio Penisola Salentina Special Award ended, which saw me in collaboration with Fabio 1RPS70 for all five weekends of May making calls with the name 1RPS14/F and Fabio with 1RPS70/D.

The purpose of the Award was to bring fans of digital broadcasting closer to those in voice and the other way around and it seems to have had a certain appeal, especially among digital operators. A little less among the voice operators but the various comments received all in all comforted us to pursue the initiative also for next year, thanks to the fact that the Radio Penisola Salentina group has among its ranks many operators who broadcast both digitally than in voice. Surely the next edition will have more activating operators.

The Award started slowly, due to unfavorable propagation for the first weekends, we had little contact, especially with regard to voice, so much so that I had become a wanted station and I didn't like it at all. Then, in the penultimate week, with great surprise we were able to assign some Awards, thanks to strong propagation and despite the fact that the monitor frequency for the voice call had been stormed by the various contests activated by other groups. I am really happy to leave to my friends of the Radio Peninsula Salentina group an event that made us work in symbiosis with my colleague Fabio, and for this I thank him, for his commitment in promoting the event on various sites and social networks, for the creation of a shared logbook, for patience in evaluating and recommending the graphics of the diploma to be awarded.

Obviously all of this would not have been possible if it had not been for everyone who participated, whether they won or tried.
