Never ask friends opinion,
Of things that you created;
For not one in a million
Will leave it quite unrated.
You must recognise the concept
Of this project you once started;
Your purpose in every taken step
To you alone imparted.
So you must make the judgement
Of what you have achieved;
Did it result in what you meant,
Was it all that you perceived
They may not share your picture
Of what was in your mind;
And then will try to lecture
On something you designed.
They do not mean to hurt you,
But sure as hell they will.
Remember they were asked their view,
Now you must take the bitter pill.
