You are my friend, counsellor and lover;
Life without you I cannot envisage.
Sixty five years I’ve had to discover
My love for you will never age.
Our life has not been without much trauma,
But against all odds we've come through.
Could it be we have some special Karma
That makes our loving union tried and true?
Our stage in life awaits its fall,
Hand in hand we’ll together meet it.
Throughout marriage we have caught the ball,
This last life challenge will complete it.
We hope our children and theirs in turn
Will their forbears long remember.
With many memories that will confirm,
