How lucky are those whose job is their hobby;
Who get paid for doing the things they enjoy.
They probably don’t even stop for coffee,
Happy to work hard for those who do employ.
If one was to produce a questionnaire,
I wonder how many would be in this category?
Probably not many to be fair,
And work in many cases is transitory.
We live in a world that equates work with pay;
Although there are a few to whom this does not apply.
For many more their job is their mainstay
And like it or not on which they do solely rely.
This consequently makes it so important
That work and play are in good balance;
And the latter be not shortened
To stifle what one might call a challenge.
