The French National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks (INERIS) is recruiting a researcher in computational toxicology.
She/He will be in charge of the development of quantitative in vitro in vivo extrapolation, both in terms of toxicokinetics and effects. In particular, we are working on human cell models for the characterization of toxicokinetic properties and certain effects linked to metabolic diseases. In addition, we have invested in recent years on the zebrafish embryo model, which is becoming increasingly used in toxicology. Our work is carried out in collaboration with experimental teams, either internally at Ineris or outside as part of research projects.
Basic requirements
PhD in life sciences and proven skills in mathematical modeling or PhD in mathematics and a solid background in toxicology or biology
At least three years’ experience in the above-mentioned disciplines
Knowledge in statistics will be an additional asset
