Battery cell (UMS-0036, UMS-0037, UMS-0038, UMS-0039)
The power subsystem has 4 sets of batteries as EM, QM, FM, FM-backup. A total of 24 battery cells (4x6=24) are available. (12 stored in the ASIF and 12 in the battery cabinet at STARLab)
Solar cell (UMS-0283)
Load switches (UMS-0284)
Switching regulator (TPS82140)
This regulator is used to provide 3.3V regulated voltage for DATEC heater.
EFuse (TPS2596)
The load switches are using this IC to provide several protection features for the subsystem receiving power.
CAN controller (TCAN4550)
This IC provides CAN functionality for the EPS controller board.
EPS Controller MCU (MSP430FR2476)
The microcontroller used for the EPS controller.
Analog Timer (LTC6995)
This IC is used to design the analog 30-minute timers that are in charge of keeping the spacecraft at an unpowered state for 30 minutes post ejection, when the hazard potential exists.
Cell protection IC (AP9101)
The IC used for the battery protection circuit.
Analog to Digital Converter (AD7928)
This IC is used to provide 8 ADC channels with 12 bit accuracy for ADC bank A in the EPS controller board. It is used for reading the Thermistor values.
LiFO4 Battery Charger
This is the charger used as the electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), to charge the batteries.
Conductive Silver Epoxy (H20E)
The Silver epoxy used to mount solar cells onto the PCBs to make the solar panels.
