Pros

• • Weather created a lot of atmosphere

  • If you're annoyed about the permanent sicknesses, you can edit the player.ini file (and if you're concerned about permadeath, backup regularly)

Cons

• • Can be permanently disadvantaged

  • Permadeath (Sadly, you never came home...)

  • Snow is really annoying as you can't do anything – you have to wait it out

  • If get one of the sicknesses, there's no graphical cues or other indication that this is the case

  • Can't make buildings from logs

  • Why is there wind and snow within caves?

  • Why don't buildings block wind?

  • I don't like repairing blocks - once something's built it should be built

  • Can be difficult to aim the pick

Tips

• • If crops have gone brown “on the vine” then just leave them and later they'll be green again
