Videos must be used as part of the instructional program. They may not be used as entertainment to end the day or to celebrate the holiday season. The Media Specialist has several videos that tie into literature themes or other curriculum areas. Be creative in making connections for specific videos, i.e. read the book Where the Red Fern Grows, then watch the film and do a comparative analysis. A video permission form must be filled out and submitted to the principal before any video is shown. According to Policy, only school owned videos can be shown in classrooms or over Closed Circuit TV. NO VIDEO/MOVIE SHOULD BE SHOWN IN ITS ENTIRETY WITHOUT ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL.
