Phone calls for you during the day will be handled by the front office in the following way:
Please be reminded that employee cell phones should be in the off or silent position during the day. No usage of cell phones is permitted during instructional time. Office personnel must turn their cell phones off and refrain from receiving personal calls except during their 30 minute lunch period.
It is the expectation that all instructional teachers (Homeroom & Support) make phone calls (including positive calls) to parents consistently. Calls for students who have a change in their grade of more than one grade level or their grade drops to a 70% or below, must be contacted and should have that contact documented in IC. Students who pose consistent behavior concerns should also have communication documented in IC. This will be monitored by admin and reflected in TKES (Standard 10 - Communication). If it isn't logged in IC it didn't happen.
