During the 2023 - 2024 School Year Kimberly will initiate the use of Toddle as a place to house our lesson/unit plans as a requirement for our IB Unit Planning.
All certified teachers are required to plan and develop weekly Lesson Plans using the Lesson Plan Template attached below. These plans should be uploaded into Google Drive in the appropriate shared folder. They should always be up to date (up to date is defined as two weeks ahead of the current date). The following guidelines must be followed:
Lesson Plans should be submitted (on Google Drive) by 8am on Monday morning for the following week (i.e. Lesson Plans submitted on Monday, Sept 3rd for the week of Sept 10th)..
All lessons must adhere to the Expectation for High Student Performance and Instructional Non-Negotiables
All lessons must be based on the State Curriculum and the District Curriculum Guides
All Plans must include the core areas of writing, reading, math, science, and social studies (if you teach those subjects)
Individual special education (IEP) modifications must be taken into account when planning for Differentiation.
Academic Vocabulary must be documented.
Bus Safety Lessons should be documented at the first of the school year
Classroom/School-wide Discipline procedures and expectations should be documented at the first of the school year.
Please use the following format when saving lesson plans (save them in your folder on Google Drive)....If Google Drive isn't working, send them to the Instructional Coach(es) and Admin by 8am:
