Mrs. Ann Opie, who died suddenly at her residence, Edward-street, Norwood, on Tuesday, was born at Lyndoch and was in her 82nd year. Mrs. Opie was the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Rushall, of Berryfield, Lyndoch, who arrived from England in 1839 and 1940 respectively, and settled at Lyndoch in 1844. She was the widow of the iate Mr. Francis Opie, of

Jamestown, Kadina, and Mannum. She leaves two sons — Messrs. E. R. Opie, of Beulah Park, and F. W. Opie, of Whyalla; and two daughters— Mesdames D. (nee Ethel Matilda Opie) Willson, of American Beach, Kangaroo Island, and E. J. Williams, of Seacliff. Two sons— Privates P. J. and V. A. Opie — were killed at the war. Mr. J. Rushall, of Lyndoch, is a brother, and Mesdames G. M. Wright, of Norwood, J. D. Wright, of Kingswood, E.. Springbett, of Unley, Miss M. Rushall, of Norwood, and Misses K. and F. Rushall, of Prospect, are sisters.

ii. Percy John OPIE was born 06 Sep 1885 in Jamestown, SA and died 23 Jul 1918 in France. He married Edith Zulieme WILLSON 25 Nov 1916 in Norwood, SA. She was born 16 Jan 1886 in Willson`s River, Kangaroo Island, SA and died 14 Jun 1952 in Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island, SA, daughter of Thomas Tingey WILLSON and Mary Ann MOLE.

iii. Victor Alan OPIE was born 06 Sep 1887 in Jamestown, SA and died 02 May 1915 in Gallipoli, Turkey
