Brother to Victor Allan OPIE

Mrs. Ann Opie, who died suddenly at her residence, Edward-street, Norwood, on Tuesday, was born at Lyndoch and was in her 82nd year. Mrs. Opie was the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Rushall, of Berryfield, Lyndoch, who arrived from England in 1839 and 1940 respectively, and settled at Lyndoch in 1844. She was the widow of the iate Mr. Francis Opie, of Jamestown, Kadina, and Mannum. She leaves two sons — Messrs. E. R. Opie, of Beulah Park, and F. W. Opie, of Whyalla; and two daughters— Mesdames D. (nee Ethel Matilda Opie) Willson, of American Beach, Kangaroo Island, and E. J. Williams, of Seacliff. Two sons— Privates P. J. and V. A. Opie — were killed at the war. Mr. J. Rushall, of Lyndoch, is a brother, and Mesdames G. M. Wright, of Norwood, J. D. Wright, of Kingswood, E.. Springbett, of Unley, Miss M. Rushall, of Norwood, and Misses K. and F. Rushall, of Prospect, are sisters.
