Chris Ward: 534 C.C. Clem was at Aldinga at one stage but he was KIA August 1916 so I agree 3473 is most likely. 3473 was married at St John Adelaide in 1909 and his son was born in Adelaide the same year. His widow went to the West where she may have had parents or siblings.

KI connection?

We were influenced in the selection of this soldier from the KI Courier article which indicated that he had died in France in 1917 KI Courier (1917, July 7). The Kangaroo Island Courier (Kingscote, SA : 1907 - 1951), , p. 2. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article189510069
