OBITUARY.
Word was received at Kingscote on Thursday of the death of Mr Malcolm Thornton. The deceased came to Kingscote about twenty-five years ago and after working for a time at Wynford Farm he returned to the mainland. He enlisted for active service and like most of those who came back, suffered severely as a result o! the terrible hardships which they endured. After his return to South Australia, he married Miss Mary Holmes, step daughter of Mr. G. C. McKinnon of Brownlow and they resided at Fullarton. We desire to express our sympathy with Mrs Thornton in her sad bereavement.
