Miss V. Forsyth, of Nailsworth, writes : — "By last mail I received a letter from my brother, Pte. Allan Forsyth. He was very well having gained two stone since leaving Aus tralia. He had experienced 11 days in the trenches up to his waist in mud but has since been transferred to the field battery. He had the pleasure of meeting Corporal James Slee, who he says has had a very bad time, but was now feeling as well as ever., He wished to be remembered to all frends on K.I."
