Hi and welcome

can we start with ......................

The recognition of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel will have repercussions way beyond Israel.

Q1] How far do you think this will reverberate and for how long?

Q2] How do you think Egypt should react to this change of American policy?

Israeli president Mr Netanyahu in his Paris speech said that the sooner I the Palestinians accept that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel the sooner they can proceed towards a peace process.

Q3] What do you think of that?

PLO Leader, Hannan Ashrawi, has just told our ABC that the Palestinians will not enter into any negotiation where the Americans are in control.

Q4] So what would be the consequence of that;

Can there be any prospect of a peace process now that the PLO will not enter discussions with the Americans or their proxies?
